Island Capital Group announced that its affiliate C-IV Capital Partners has acquired commercial real estate services organization NAI Global from C-III Capital Partners, another Island Capital-controlled affiliate. The transaction closed July 31 and is part of Island Capital’s strategy to build a diversified commercial real estate investment and services platform. It follows C-IV’s recently announced agreement to acquire Greystone’s commercial real estate loan special servicing business. NAI Global brings a network of more than 325 offices and approximately 5,800 professionals across 65 countries. Its locally owned and managed firms provide commercial real estate brokerage, leasing, capital markets, property management and advisory services. “NAI Global is an invaluable component of the Island Capital diversified real estate services platform,” said Andrew Farkas, chairman and CEO of Island Capital Group and executive chairman of C-IV. He said the organization’s local market expertise, entrepreneurial structure and international reach make it a critical part of Island Capital’s strategy.
